Rubber slab: A sheet-like product made of rubber as the main material (which may contain reinforcing materials such as fabric or metal sheets), obtained through vulcanization and having a certain thickness and a large area. It is simply called a rubber slab. The rubber slab has a relatively high hardness and generally has poor physical and mechanical properties. It can work in an environment with a pressure not exceeding 20°C and a temperature ranging from 20°C to +140°C. The rubber slab is produced by pressing and laminating the mixed rubber or by extrusion molding, and is vulcanized using a flat vulcanizing machine or continuously vulcanized using a drum vulcanizing machine. Color: black, gray, green, blue, etc. It is widely used in industrial and mining enterprises, transportation departments, and in the construction of houses and floors. It is used as sealing rubber rings, rubber pads, door and window seals, and for laying workbenches and floors.
1 Classification
1. According to whether a medium is included, it can be classified into pure rubber sheets and types such as those with fabric or metal frame layers sandwiched in between.
2. According to their uses, they can be classified into industrial plywood and rubber flooring.
3. According to their physical and chemical properties, they can be classified as: woven rubber sheets, laminated rubber sheets, insulating rubber sheets, oil-resistant rubber sheets, acid-base resistant rubber sheets, striated anti-slip rubber sheets, square anti-slip rubber sheets, round hook anti-slip rubber sheets, asbestos rubber sheets, and oil-resistant asbestos rubber sheets.
4. According to color and surface treatment, they can be classified as: black rubber sheet, green rubber sheet (commonly known as green screen rubber sheet), red rubber sheet (commonly known as red screen rubber sheet), white rubber sheet, yellow rubber sheet, blue rubber sheet, gray rubber sheet, textured rubber sheet, and ultra-wide rubber sheet.
2 Process Requirements for Editing
According to different operating conditions, different rubber sheets should be selected. And depending on different environments and actual usage requirements, the applicable processes also vary. For instance, in on-site construction, the rubber sheet used is either cured rubber sheet or self-sulfurized rubber sheet. When the ambient temperature is too high, the rubber sheet is generally vulcanized using a vulcanization tank, which enhances the temperature resistance of the rubber sheet. Especially in cases where the maintenance time for mines and thermal power plants is short and the requirement for the rubber sheet's wear resistance is high, the on-site cold bonding technology research has been adopted. This has significantly reduced the enterprise cost and increased the lifespan.
